Of course, the one my gramma made for me was all nicely wrapped in pretty colorful papers, but this version suits us just fine this year.. Paper lunch bags, folded over and clipped with clothes pins and a little red and green ribbon for cuteness!.

A big extra special “thank you” goes out to GE Sealants for sponsoring this post and for giving us the motivation to get these last few projects checked off our list!I was compensated for my time spent writing this post, but all thoughts and opinions are 100% mine as always!Hunter boots have been popular and loved by millions for pretty much forever now, or at least since 1856 when the first boots were made.

These boots have always been super practical, dependable, and tough enough to hold up to some of the harshest conditions.Lately, with Pinterest being such a big part of everyone’s lives, these boots seems to be even more popular, but usually as a part of a cute rainy-day outfit or something like that..Since we get so much rain, pretty much all year round here in Southwestern Ontario, I thought I’d try out a pair of these boots for myself about 6 months ago.

Basically so many of the rural lifestyle scenarios that we face out here everyday.I really do love the look of letting the natural beauty of the real trees shine through though.

I almost think I could not decorate them at all and I’d still love having them in the house.. All I did this year was put in a few berry picks to match the red berry wreaths I made a few weeks ago, and then I handed Kennedy the bag of red ornaments and said “this is the red tree”.. Nine year olds are the best!(Look at the socks :)).

We thought we would make the fake tree in the dining room a red tree too to match.Kennedy did it in her own way.
